Wildwood [NOUN]: an uncultivated wood or forest that has been allowed to grow naturally.
My Therapeutic philosophy reflects the wisdom of the Wildwood. Our psyches do not want to be forced or pushed into healing. They want to open up in their own time and in their own way. My goal is to help create an environment that feels safe enough for your mind and body to remember their own intrinsic healing capacity, so you can grow naturally. The end goal is helping you transition from a state of surviving to a state of thriving.
I am a Seattle-based, trauma therapist using Lifespan Integration, Treating Internalized Oppression, the Polyvagal Theory, the Gottman Method, Neurodiversity Paradigm, and Collaborative and Proactive Solutions, along with other trauma informed modalities. Some of my specialties include neurodivergence (autism, PDA, and ADHD specifically), complex PTSD, highly sensitive people, empaths, ethical non-monogamy, and the queer, trans, and non-binary community. I work with individuals, couples, and polycules of all backgrounds and identities. I am adamantly opposed to ableist compliance based behavioral therapies and instead focus on which supports each individual client needs in order to thrive.
I work with Washington State residents via telehealth. Telehealth will always be an accessibility option, even outside of pandemic times.
